Packages Can Be Combined

Coral Reefs, Active Volcanoes
Treks, Tribes, Houseboats & Orangutangs

All trips are custom made. This is a taster our possibilities. Many places are not mentioned. Of course we make trips to Bali, the Gilis and Nusa Penida too 🙂

North Sulawesi https://pilgrim-adventure.com/north-sulawesi/

One of our favourite areas of Indonesia. Perfect for snorkelers & divers with its shallow coral reefs and very diverse life around a handful of different islands. Perfect combination for land activities such as trekking, river rafting, local markets and more. For macro photographers you have the worlds best diving at the Lembeh Strait. Turtle heaven at Bunaken and soft coral color explosions at Bangka.

Sumbawa & Komodo https://pilgrim-adventure.com/west-nusa-tenggara/

Whalesharks, manta rays and Komodo dragons; volcanoes and superb snorkeling and diving in the Komodo National Park without any other tourists around. Can very well be combined with Bali, Lombok or Flores for local culture and mountainous villages.

Raja Ampat https://pilgrim-adventure.com/west-papua/

The highest marine biodiversity found anywhere. Needs no introduction 🙂 High-end resorts or budget accommodation available. Perfect for divers and snorkelers. Jungle treks and local village stays may be added. Can very well be combined with North Sulawesi to spice things up.

Halmahera https://pilgrim-adventure.com/north-maluku/

Referred to as the next Raja Ampat, Halmahera's biodiversity is up there and not yet on the tourist radar. You can snorkel and dive from the island of Ternate where you fly to. Here we can find historic buildings and spices - as this is a part of the Maluku - the old Spice Islands. Huge forests still cover Halmahera and we do jungle treks to big volcanoes here. Besides that, the best tropical diving is around some small islands at the south of Halmahera.

Alor, Rote & Timor Leste
https://pilgrim-adventure.com/east-nusa-tenggara/

A gem. At the most south eastern part of Indonesia, this is an untouched area. Blue whale migration, richest reefs, surfing at Rote - which also sees a local population of manta rays and the rare whaleshark. Anything can show up under water here - especially in Alor. Alor has a different fauna below the surface compared to fx Raja Ampat. Hammerheads and most whales are migrating during October, but can pass by anytime of year. We make something interesting here, where we go from Indonesia into Timor Leste. Amazing diving from the mainland but also from one of the islands. On land we do mountainbiking, trekking, visit coffee plantations and oh, the blue whale migration is huge in Timor Leste.

Kalimantan (Indonesian part of Borneo)

Houseboats into the heart of Kalimantan, visit tribes and old styled long houses. Trek in the primary jungle on the look-out for completely wild orangutangs and much more wildlife!
